The Ricegrowers' Association of Australia (RGA) invites you to be part of the 2018 Annual Conference, being held at the Rich River Golf Club in Moama on 2 & 3 August 2018.

The 2018 conference theme is Locally Owned – Globally Focused where we are taking the opportunity to celebrate not only Australian rice, but the people, growers, company, systems and technology that play a vital role in making Australian rice competitive on the global stage.

The two-day conference agenda includes presentations by guest speakers and a trade exhibition, followed by a Gala Dinner on Thursday evening.

Our AGM and business reporting sessions will be held on Friday morning, with post-conference tours to be conducted in the afternoon.

Lunch at Perricoota Station

Settled by James Maiden in 1843, Historical Perricoota Station consisted of about 120,000 acres, stretching about 30km north and 30km west of Moama. The station was the heart of the strong rural Moama community providing high quality merino sheep, Cobb & Co horse transport, cattle and fruit orchards for local and domestic distribution.

Today, Perricoota Station retains all the historic glamour including the magnificent Homestead built in the 1860’s and set in 150 years of manicured gardens.

The group will be hosted for lunch at the fully restored “Packing Shed” situated on the water’s edge of the Murray River, and will be treated to a two course set menu showcasing fresh local produce. Beverages will also be available for purchase.

The tour includes transport to and from Perricoota Station from Echuca, and lunch.

Cost:
$75 per person

Please note: A minimum number of 15 guests will be required for this tour to proceed. Final numbers will be required by COB Friday, 20 July 2018.
