The Rice Growers Safety Checklist has been developed to assist members to quickly check their farms for hazards and risks. The checklist is NOT designed to cover all of the hazards and risks that may be present on farms and members are encouraged to implement an OH&S policy as required by the Occupational Health & Safety Act (NSW) 2000 and its associated OH&S Regulation (NSW) 2001. The checklist has been widely accepted by those members who participated in OHS courses run by PLST or Peppin Planners as being easy to use and practical. |
