SunRice ASX listing proposal a success

The RGA today congratulates SunRice, its shareholders and growers on the successful resolution of its proposal to list on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

Today SunRice held its 2018 Annual General Meeting where shareholders voted on a number of resolutions which have the effect of enabling SunRice to list its B Class shares on the ASX.

The Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia (RGA) welcomed the successful vote which was supported by 80% of A Class shareholders and 92% of B Class shareholders. As a result, B Class shares will now be listed on the ASX. In addition, the previous restrictions on B Class Share ownership will be removed and a 10% B Class Shareholding Limit will apply. Critically, SunRice will retain the dual class share structure with A Class Grower Shareholder control.
