Come along and learn how to get better NIR results.
Research shows that the NIR tissue test is accurate but the results of farmer tests are still variable.
The test is only as good as the sample taken, so this tells us that the samples are not being taken correctly.
Research Agronomist, Brian Dunn has devised a new, easier to use rice ring which will be provided free to those who attend the PI meeting (limited supplies so be early!).
Please come along and learn how to take samples more accurately to achieve better NIR results, so that you can better manage your N fertiliser. Click here to view further details.
Based on temperature data, early sown Reiziq and Langi crops are predicted to reach PI next week (21-26 December). Although Quest and Sherpa were sown later, they will come in 5 and 6 days earlier than Reiziq sown at same time, so it's time to start looking at your crops.
