A word from our Executive Director; Graeme Kruger, about Membership

Hello Members,

First and foremost, we thank you for your continued investment with the Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia (RGA). Without your loyalty and support, we would not be able to continuously provide our members with valuable benefits and actively develop our rice industry. Put simply, you make what we do possible.

Did you know that member subscriptions made up 16% of the RGA’s income for the 2019/20 financial year? The RGA works hard to secure project funding to support our members and the local community, but membership subscriptions ensure that our core business of representing rice growers on the political stage continues.
With an RGA membership, you have the opportunity to learn about the challenges faced by the rice industry and the local community, contribute to the formulation of RGA policies and have your voice heard.

Thank you to all the members who have already paid their 2019/20 subscriptions, this great organisation is able to function because of this contribution. The good news is, there’s still time to renew.

CLICK HERE to to download the membership form
OR     Call 02 6953 0433 and renew your membership over the phone with a credit card.

If you have not renewed your membership for two years or more, it will expire this year and as of 30 June 2020 you will stop receiving RGA information and newsletters from the 1 July 2020.

Please note that our constitution allows members voting rights at RGA meetings up to 12 months after their final membership payment. Therefore members who renewed last year but have still not renewed this year, may vote at our next Annual Branch AGMs, but are ineligible to stand for committee positions or be elected to the Central Executive as a Delegate. If you are unsure whether you are financial please ring the RGA Office on 02 6953 0433.

In the event of financial hardship, your renewal terms may be reviewed in conjunction with your Branch President and the RGA Board.

Yours sincerely,
Graeme Kruger,
Executive Director, Ricegrowers' Association of Australia
