The Ricegrowers' Association recognises and celebrates those who’ve made a significant contribution to the rice industry. We facilitate the provision of scholarships to assist growers and their families and run leadership courses especially designed to develop the next generation of rice industry leaders.

Ricegrowers Association of Australia together with AgriFutures Australia is offering twenty individuals (in total) working within the rice industry or an AgriFutures Australia levied industry, the opportunity to participate in a 12 month Mentoring Program to advance their personal and business development via one-on-one mentoring.

Greg Graham Memorial Scholarship and Peter Connor Book Award

Applications for the 2020  Scholarship are closed.

This scholarship, sponsored by Rice Research Australia Pty Ltd and SunRice, supports the agricultural education of members of the RGA, or their family.The successful applicant receives a grant to the value of $10,000 to assist in studying a full-time, agriculture-based course at any Australian tertiary institution. 

The Peter Connor Book Award provides $3,000 for the purchase of books to the runner-up.
