National Renewables in Agriculture Conference and Expo

Thursday 14 November, 9am - 4.30pm @ The Range Function Centre, 308 Copland Street, Wagga Wagga, NSW. 

On-farm renewables are a valuable opportunity for farmers to cut costs and emissions. This inaugural event brings together farmers, agriculture and energy consultants, peak bodies and Government representatives to share stories of on-farm renewables, their business case and discuss what’s driving the transformation of energy use in agriculture.

Notice is hereby given that the Rice Marketing Board for the State of New South Wales will be holding its Annual Meeting at the Historic Hydro Motor Inn, Leeton, on Thursday 21 November 2019, commencing at 6pm. Refreshments will be provided prior to the meeting at 5.30pm.

All rice growers are invited to attend.

Murray-Darling Basin water markets inquiry public forum
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is hosting a series of public forums in November to hear the views of those engaged in, or affected by, markets for tradeable water rights in the Murray-Darling Basin. In particular, the ACCC invite irrigators, investors, water brokers, service providers facilitating the trading of water, environmental water holders, urban water authorities, irrigation infrastructure operators, indigenous users and community members, and market advisors and analysts to attend a forum to share their views and experiences with the ACCC.  REGISTER FOR AN EVENT HERE.
