Peter Herrmann

Mr Peter Herrmann became the 13th President of the RGA in September 2022. Peter has been involved in the rice industry and the RGA for many years, formally in 1998 when he began growing rice himself.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws (2AHons Environmental Law) from the Australian National University.
With his wife Katherine, and their six sons aged 14-21, Peter runs a mixed farming operation of rice, sheep, and walnuts at Murrami NSW.
Peter has a passion for enhancing land and water use to create abundance, along with better Public Policy outcomes. -

Justin Sutherland
Vice President & Non-Executive Member Director
Coleambally Branch
Justin Sutherland is a third-generation rice farmer from Coleambally, NSW. Justin has had a long association with the RGA and is the current Coleambally Branch President and Central Executive Delegate, as well as the Water Committee Chair. Justin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the water space as Murrumbidgee WaterNSW Customer Advisory Group (CAG) Delegate for the RGA.
Justin, his partner Amanda, and their three children grow rice, corn, wheat, and seed on their irrigation property at Coleambally. -

Chris Morshead

Chris Morshead currently plays an active role in the RGA Water Committee and RGA Productivity and Industry Affairs Committee.
Chris runs a mixed cropping farm with his wife and children near Yenda.

Emily Small
Non-Executive Member Director
Deniliquin Branch
Emily has a Bachelor in Medical Science and a Bachelor in Medical and Applied Biotechnology. She has worked for Murray Irrigation for the last 10 years in customer engagement. In this role, she has worked with irrigation farmers across the footprint to help solve their complex inquiries. She obtained a Diploma of Project Management in 2021, completed her Institute of Company Directors accreditation in 2023, and has worked on community boards for the last 5 years.
Emily, her husband Josh, and their two kids run a mixed farming business of rice, teff, sheep, and winter cropping just outside of Deniliquin.

Scott Williams
Non-Executive Member Director
Yanco Branch
Scott Williams is the President of the Yanco Branch of the RGA and has been a member of the RGA Central Executive for over 13 years.
Scott and his wife Pam were finalists in the 2020 SunRice Grower of the Year, and they were commended for their sustainability and environmental credentials and holistic farming approach. The Williams’ farm is a traditional family run mixed farming enterprise with Scott farming alongside son Carl. -

Graeme Kruger
Executive Director
Graeme took over the position of Executive Director in 2016.
Graeme is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has a post graduate qualification in conservation management with extensive General Management and Governance experience ranging across, operations, marketing & sales, project and people management. His work history has spanned National Park Management, Marketing, Property and the Development sectors. He is well versed with working in competitive commercial environments through to membership and volunteer based organisations in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
Graeme is also chairman of two large body corporates in New Zealand representing property interests for approximately 120 owners.
