FRRR Community Impact Program

(Delivery Partner, 2024)

RGA Landcare and Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre, as members of the Murray Landcare Network, successfully applied for funding under the FRRR Community Impact Funding Program. With the funds, a series of three "Connecting Community to Connect to Country" workshops were held with community members.

This initiative aimed to improve capability, coordination, and collaboration between networks, other community organisations, and sectors that can be drawn upon in future droughts by establishing a Community of Practice that brings together service providers, community groups, and businesses as an avenue for collaboration, training, and information and resource sharing.

Whilst the funded project has concluded, a community collective model with this ethos is being established in early 2025 to continue strengthening the community's collaboration, coordination and capability. Anyone is welcome to participate.
